A Very Holy and Happy New Year 2019 to You.

The year 2018 marked the 93rd Birth Anniversary of our Beloved Lord Bhagawan Baba. It is the occassion for all of us to feel greatly blessed that He kept us all in His fold. May He keep showering His Grace on all of us.

2018 also marked the completion of 27 years of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram. So in other words the hospital is 27 years young. And as with all Swami's institutions, with Baba's Divine Grace, we are growing from strength to strength. 

To mention briefly, in the past one year the hospital has provided treatment to a total of 174,100 out-patients and has performed around 14,128 surgeries and procedures across all the specialties. This translates to around 481 out-patients a day and approximately 40 surgeries/ procedures a day. All this completely free of charge to all the patients. 

Going into the details, the hospital performed around 1,101 cardiac surgeries and 2,630 catheterisation procedures. Around 4,482 Ophthalmology surgeries, 3,220 Urology surgeries, 1,650 Orthopaedic Surgeries, 1,047 Plastic Surgeries  and around 350 Gastroenterology Endoscopy procedures. 

In the new year we pledge, with all our heart, to take our Dearest Swami's Mission forward and reach new heights of selfless service to the humanity.
