UROLOGY DEPARTMENT WINS SECOND PRIZE AT NATIONAL UROLOGY CONFERENCE
The department of Urology of the Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Prasanthigram, has won second prize at the National Urology Conference, USICON 2024 organized in Patna, Bihar from February 1-4, 2024. The resident mentor team of Dr. Girraj Sharma and Dr. Ashwin Sekhar won the second prize in the resident mentor prize session for their presentation titled “Outcomes of Bladder Neck Incision in Children with Posterior Urethral Valves”.
The team from Department of Urology, comprising Additional Senior Consultant , Dr. Ashwin Sekhar P, final year DNB residents Dr Girraj Sharma and Dr Anuj Yadav and 2nd year resident Dr Ayush Mohan Goel attended the conference. Dr Ashwin was invited as faculty and was an expert panellist in the instructional course conducted by the Indian School of Urology during the conference. There were a total of 6 presentations made by the team including 5 podium video presentations.
