ganesh chaturthi at SSSIHMS

This year's Ganesha Chariot's theme for the Hospital was "Going Green". This also reflected the fact that the hospital had taken a great leap towards green energy by setting up a 1 Mega Watt solar plant.

 AUTUMN AT SSSIHMS

The dew is here: While in Autumn one generally witnesses trees shedding leaves everywhere, in the hospital campus, however, owing to a large number of evergreen trees the sight is a bit different. Here the first sight of autumn is the appearance of dew on the grass.

Receiving the Sun loud and clear: Marigolds have many species like this one here, which does not look like the usual marigolds. Generally marigolds stop flowering in autumn when the frost sets in, but this flower here has other ideas.

Morning Calm: This tree lined path leads to the hospital from the staff quarters. Almost all staff members take this road to enter their work places in the hospital. In Autumn it gets slightly misty in the morning with all the trees around. The calm here is elevating.

Evening Peace: The Sun sets in Puttaparthi are a delight to watch. There is none of the pollution and dust of the cities and therefore the hues are enchanting. An yes all the trees you see in the photo are within the hospital campus.
